Manchester - 2015
I first visited Manchester in 2015, making it the second city I explored in the United Kingdom after London. I travelled there with a friend from Manchester, with whom I had previously shared an apartment in Barcelona.
Manchester left a very different impression from the British capital. The city felt quieter and more understated, moving at its own pace while remaining deeply connected to its industrial heritage. Surrounded by historic warehouses, red-brick buildings, and iconic architecture, I also discovered the lasting influence of the music scene that shaped the city throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
For this series, I selected five black-and-white photographs of the architecture that has stayed with me the most. Together, they form a personal reflection on a city that never demands attention, but gradually reveals its character to those willing to slow down and look.
